Importance of pools in different civilizations
Archeologists report that swimming pools were found in
Egypt, Greece and in Rome. They also reported that Rome and Greece were very
developed society and they included swimming in their curriculum of elementary
schools. They did not wear swimming costumes for bathing. The Roman
civilization had also built public swimming pools. The lord of Roma named as

that for the proper education one should learn swimming. Phoenicians, Assyrians
and Babylonian civilizations also have evidence for the swimming. It is thought
that there were swimming competitions held in Japan for about 2000 years
before.

During 18th century this activity became most
popular among the people and as a result of which swim clubs were made in the
